He continued his professional development in an advanced education residency program at Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where he focused on special needs patients, full mouth rehabilitation cases, cosmetic cases, and CAD/CAM dentistry. In his practice of dentistry at MUSC, he focused on comprehensive care grounded in evidence based dentistry.

He is a great listener and his patient’s concern is of utmost importance to him. When Dr. DeLeon is not volunteering or working, he can be found spending time with his dog (Bruno) and traveling. You can also find him spending time with his large family and playing with his two nieces and three nephews.
